Dear Parents,

It’s lovely to see the fine weather today as we head in to the final few weeks of school!

School Uniform            I would like to remind you that certain flexibility around the school uniform can be introduced at this time of the year i.e. the month of June and also the month of September, given the warm weather we usually get.

It is permissible to wear grey polo shirt on school uniform days. Grey pants/skirt can be interchanged with tracksuit shorts/ tailored grey shorts. This year with the delay in the availability of new school uniforms/tracksuits children are permitted to wear school tracksuit bottoms also. No other additions or variations are acceptable.

Homework                   I am pleased to announce that class teachers will be reducing substantially the quantity of homework given for the next few weeks. Please note that teachers are striving to complete textbooks, especially to allow the PA to prepare certain books for next year’s Book Rental scheme. The children have worked really hard all year and are winding down for the summer. Indeed it was suggested at our recent WSE by Schools Inspector, Michael Crowley.
